• You will be responsible for the test, qualification and commissioning of scientific instruments. You will perform the internal and external acceptance tests.
• You define standard tests in agreement with the product experts from components-engineering, research & development and customer management.  
• As a project manager, you will oversee customer orders from technical clarification to testing and delivery. This will also include non-standard tests in agreement with the product experts.
• You are responsible for filing order-related documentation, such as internal and external acceptance tests reports. 
• You support the product release process with tests and test procedure definitions.
• You are a stakeholder for technical know-how and contact person for other departments in-house.
• You operate our instruments and test machines, conduct quality control and perform production tasks.

• You have successfully completed a scientific or technical degree, doctorate desired, or have at least 3 years of professional experience in this field. 
• Ideally, you already have experience in experimental photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS/UPS) and with UHV instrumentation 
• You have experience with the installation and testing of complex electrical and mechanical systems. 
• You enjoy working in a team and have strong problem-solving skills, are also very self-organized and goal-oriented. 
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills round off your profile.
